Speech Eval

Speech sounds are evaluated with a standardized assessment, comparing speech production to national norms. A detailed report includes analysis of speech errors, summary of current abilities, and recommendations for speech treatment based on family communication goals.

Stuttering Eval

We will discuss patient and family goals and concerns, assess the patient’s breathing patterns, the mental link to stuttering, connected speech flow in a variety of contexts, and provide a report including observations and recommendations, including stuttering education.

Infant Feeding Eval

0-6 months
Addressing concerns with:
– suck-swallow-breathe
– reasons for latching difficulties with breast or bottle
– understanding tethered oral tissues (restricted tongue or lip) and treatment options
– referral for release procedure if needed
– pre-op and post-op oral motor therapy to ensure successful recovery from tongue tie or lip tie release
– a detailed report analyzing oral motor and feeding needs, summarizing current abilities, and offering treatment recommendations based on family goals

Addressing concerns with:
– transitioning to solid foods
– oral defensiveness
– tethered oral tissues
– texture preferences
– oral motor skills
– jaw development
– positive food relationships
– trying new foods safely

– swallowing coordination
– A report includes oral motor and feeding needs analysis, current abilities summary, and treatment recommendations based on family goals.

Treatment session rates:

$75 per 30 minute session

$115 per 45 minute session

Feeding: $150 per 50 minute session

Considerations that go into session rates:
planning time for personalized sessions, materials preparation, expertise and specialized training necessary for type of therapy, writing home practice activities, and thorough session notes provided to you each time you come.

The information provided in the good faith estimate is only an estimate, and the actual items, services, or charges may differ from what is included in the good faith estimate, especially as the treatments offered are highly personalized for each client’s needs.

The rates posted above disclose the basic fees associated with services offered at this office. You can discuss length of therapy and number of visits with your provider.

Payment Methods
North Idaho Speech & Myo, LLC, accepts private pay at time of service by cash, check, or a credit card that has been entered before the appointment.

A superbill can be provided upon request; clients are responsible for contacting their insurance company before services are rendered in order to fully understand what their insurance company will reimburse.
